My mom once told my boys not to stand still too long or I’d mosaic them.  As a lifelong artist in one form or another, mosaics turned out to be the one that stuck. There is just something about the wide assortment of materials, color, texture, and possibilities that keep it interesting.

The choices are endless. Taking broken or found objects and finding a new way to turn them into something else is quite fulfilling. I know without a doubt, my connection to creativity and this art form, has allowed me to process some difficult times as art often does.  It is an integral part of humanity and connects us all.
