Little did I know eleven years ago when I found my BIG studio in Bell Buckle, it would ultimately become my largest work. I was drawn to the space for the possibilities a large workspace would provide and I was already fond of the community.
I spent the first few years at the studio in the yard planting trees and various transplants from friends and family. I have my grandmother’s white iris, several of Dad’s day lilies, Mom’s cat mint, daffodils, and black eyed susan’s throughout my garden. The studio itself needed a quite a bit of work to make a portion of it livable. Since I’m no carpenter, I spent my first few years in the yard.
My first mosaic in the house was the entry floor. In 2019, the mosaics began to make its way outside. I really had no idea that by 2022 the facade would be completed. I had hoped to open things up and share the work on the tenth anniversary of acquiring the studio but we just weren’t ready. And wow! I never could have imagined what we’d get done between now and then.
On June 10, 2023 we opened the doors to welcome guests and celebrated the beginning of the next chapter at the Bell Buckle Mosaic House . I am thrilled to have you join us for this new beginning.

Site By Stephanie Swaney
I have loved watching you work on your beautiful home. It is truly a treasure for the community of Bell Buckle, for your friends (me!) and travels throughout our beautiful state. Congratulations, Lynn. I am looking forward to so many beautiful days ahead! With much love, B
It’s a community to treasure.
It has been so exciting to see you take your house from “I want to add a little tile around the door” to an incredible piece of art that is for everyone to enjoy!
Thanks Lisa!
