I hope we are beyond the 90 degree high temp days here in middle Tennessee.   My work outside this summer has been limited by the extremely hot temperatures.  It wouldn’t hurt the materials to work in this heat but it’s just not fun for me and I am a warm weather gal!  So I am looking forward to the fall cool down and getting back to the outdoor mosaic on the back wall of the Bell Buckle Mosaic House.

The temperatures directly impact the materials in an outdoor mosaic.  It’s always important to check the manufacturers recommendations on the product you use.  Most adhesives and grouts need to have temps at or above 50 degrees to properly cure.  So read the label and check the temperatures!  Happy Mosaics!
