I once had a friend trained in Feng Shui that introduced to me to the saying, “A New Broom Sweeps Clean”…..she didn’t tell me the rest of the quote….”but an old broom knows the corners”. Often my Feng is in the Shui….in other words…we can get in our own way. Fall is a reflective time for me and I’m sure others as well. Recently one of my dearest friends and confidant shared about her current practice to surrender before causing herself to suffer. What a practice!
I had a difficult week trying to pull things together for the upcoming Bell Buckle Crafts Fair. Several things I had lined up fell through. So….in the end… the Tiny Mosaic House will be debuted at a later date along with other installations underway.
Part of my surrender this weekend took me to the Tennessee Association of Crafts Artists Fall Crafts Fair at Centennial Park in Nashville, Tn. It was a beautiful show and I saw many artists friends both showing and shopping. My eyes landed on this pencil broom with rainbow bristles and I knew it was going home with me! It belongs at the Bell Buckle Mosaic House! And…it has a good witch vibe!
Be a good witch!
